CoverSutra
CoverSutra ist ein kleines Tool zum Steuern von iTunes: Transportfunktionen, Bewertung, etc. Last.fm scrobbler und eine Suchfunktion, welche ähnlich wie Spotlight funktioniert, sind auch gleich integriert. Kann ich also nur empfehlen. Das einzige Problem ist, dass sich das Tool von Zeit zu Zeit beendet, ohne Fehlermeldung und nichts. Aber das wird sicher bald gefixt.

OS X und Apple sind ja toll, aber sowas gibt einem schon zu denken. Im OS X Wörterbuch ist das Wort “Portfolio” scheinbar nicht enthalten. Dafür wird einem von der Korrekturhilfe “Pornofilm” als beste Option angeboten. Portfolio/Pornofilm .. Naja. :-) Zur Auswahl stehen auch “Postfolio”, “Wortfolio” und “Portofolio”. Was zum Geier?
Nervt Dich winmail.dat?
Manchmal ist es ein wenig nervig dass Outlook nicht einmal Attachements plattformübergreifend handlen kann. Ahh!!! =D Meine Gebete wurden erhört: Steve Jobs hat heute an der Apple Keynote an der MacWorld das iPhone vorgestellt: iPod, Handy .. und alles unter (einem wohl etwas abgespeckten) OSX. Und das Design.. das GUI.. AH!! AHH!! =) Ich glaube ich muss nochmals überlegen, was ich mir zum Geburtstag schenken soll.

sidetrack für osx
Mein altes Powerbook (schliesslich ist das Teil schon bald 2 jährig – unglaublich alt für Hardware!) hatte noch kein “virtuelles Scrollrad”. sidetrack ersetzt den default Trackpad-Treiber von OS X. Nach einem Reboot und ein wenig Konfiguration klappts jetzt auch mit dem Trackpad! :) Nettes Tool, Shareware.

i recently stumbled about a very versatile video encoder for osx. ffmpegX allows you to encode the stuff with a few clicks while you used 10 tools for the same job before. comes in quite handy. now there’s only one last thing you need a pc for: gaming. :)
