*hooray!* – i’m now blogging since 1 year. the most human question would be now: did it bring me some advantages? the answer to this question isn’t really easy. i don’t feel like i encountered a higher level of introspection for example. but that is also because i wouldn’t really like to share my darkest and deepest inside with the public (excluding 1-2 rants per year ;) ). the meaning of blogging for me is more about making personal notes. i hope i will have some good time laughing at some entries in 2-3 years.
should i keep writing useless stuff? – well, yes. :) it’s a good way to practice my written english and maybe some fun for the people who know me. one thing i’d really like to change next year is the artistic side of my web presence, like redesigning the “sister site” of this blog, known as lifesupportsystem. it really needs a cleanup. but i won’t color a single pixel without a clear vision.
maybe this is a good point in time to look at the past year (taking into account all medias currently are in the hype of “that was 2005″ etc, it’s a logical cause. ;)):

- living thru good and bad times with a small company trying to find it’s way in the agency soup of small business switzerland.
- started a scholarship at the school of design in st.gallen. decided to stay after numerous thoughts of inconvenience. sadly, i now have a lot less time to waste on useless things. i’d really need that.. (“the story goes on .. stay tuned”)
- started various projects in my spare time of which most are already dead. mostly not because of me, honestly.
- one of them is a gui-design project. i’m really putting my effort in this one. i love that pixelmoving.
- hired my sandbox friend to work in the same company as i do. very social, indeed ;)
- downloaded a lot of good music :)
- got rid of all massive multiplayer online role playing games (mmorpg). more time to waste now.
- buyed battlefield 2: the time saved while not playing mmorpgs is again gone..

- no lottery millions – still. maybe i should start playing. :)
- my imaginery girlfriend didn’t turn into a real person yet. maybe next year.
- no killer graphic design project in the pipeline. *sniff*
- didn’t stopped smoking (hell, and i won’t)
- no time for music anymore. kinda lost the inspiration for electronic music production, too bad. maybe it will come back sometime.
not much, compared to the daily headlines.
