lifesupportsystem is now quite old already. since i kinda found back to experimenting with gfx (mostly because i got bored by the business stuff), i’m thinking about switching the page to some sort of visual experiment repository. the whole thing only has a few hooks: a) i’m still busy all the time b) i currentyl don’t have a clue on how to start. we’ll see about that later.
if you’re interested in my business life: my company is slowly getting professionally organized. one could call it a learning process. tho some things were obvious for quite some time now. 2 months ago i was thinking that this company wouldn’t exist much longer. with the help of some sponsors and a boss who’s probably spending most of his spare time working for clients and trying to get the company going again, i guess we could manage to survive .. no dude, it’s optimist time! we WILL survive!! ;) the whole company will be arranged as an “aktiengesellschaft” (“inc.” or so..) by the end of october. unfortunately (for me ;) ) i will not be able to work on a company-logo redesign. i’d have loved to do so. i already had tons of sparks in my head, waiting to get released when i heard we’re reorganizing. well, at least i can again spend some time on the agency printdesign stuff i hope. really needs a refresh!
what else .. uhm .. my brother got 18 last month. jeez .. time goes by quite fast. he’s now about 8cm taller than me. wtf! :) i guess he’s living his “best” years like i did. blunts and beer. arrr, those kids! only sex, drugs and stuff! :)
on a totally different topic: i guess i spent about 6 hours watching news coverage on new orleans and “the aftermath” in the past 5 days. if you stop to just consume images and also think about their meaning a bit, you see how they use media trying to repolish the scratched image of the u.s. government by showing soldiers with babies on their arms and stuff. but .. i’m too far away from the happening to really make myself an opinion. maybe the guys cutting footage together just want to push on the emotional side in general which is – regarding the whole tragedy – also kinda understandable. one thing is for sure: it’s terrible. and another thing: where is my objective news ressource?! – does it actually exist?
beside that, nothing really changed. except that i rearranged my workspace. tho i’m using it as “extended chaos distribution platform” at the moment, rather than a place to learn .. hehe. and i met this girl ..
