the thin borders

three options

- you’re not satisfied with what you’ve done, but the client wants it like that.
- you ARE satisfied with what you’ve done, but the client ..
- you were satisfied, and the client too. but now, you feel like you could have done it different

ahaha, who doesn’t know that? the usual thing.. another opinion is this:
    * you’ve done some nice thing to the software, a cool feature nobody expected, of which you think it rules, of which you’re happy.
    * the customer thinks the same
    * but then, the customer expects such nice fancy stuff all the time, and doesn’t even want to pay for it..

    gna.

well, i like the last option most – a creation without self-critic and the possibility to do it better is a sad thing. also a very annoying thing is when the customer begins to alter the work and at the end both of you must agree that’s good due to the mass of time all party’ve had invested…

but there are also good days and good works, no?

a contract doesn’t set wether the customer is annoying or not. plus, if my boss thinks we should do everything for a customer, it’s just like that. i can’t change it.
