a short review of the past days:
what a week. feels like i’m driving on high octane fuel. i finished 2 pages: pgm.ch – my company’s new website and netzklang.ch – a website for a project i’m working on with a bunch of nice swiss netlabel people. there’s not a lot of content on the second page mentioned here, it is supposed to be evolving. (another way to say: “i hope someone else takes on this part too”) both are in german, you may use google to get some funny translation results.
the citynet thing works rather smooth now, another thing that cheers me up. we have a huge increase in work for the next few weeks. if i compare it with november and december last year, it maybe almost doubled, at least for my part of the deal. the best thing about that is, in fact, it is mostly creative work. i’m totally not the project management kind of guy and i don’t like running after todolists and such. i’m not naive to think it will be always like that but it’s motivating me very much, even if i know i will probably spend some nights on these things. i’m so motivated, i don’t even care about clients nodding on absolutely obsolete things and changing stuff for the 37th time, even if they told me “oh absolutely fabulous” when i showed them my first sketch. that’s part of the deal too, and honestly, if i can keep on writing my hours into the timesheet, i don’t care. :) at least not when i know that there are other projects who will compensate for what i’m going thru at this moment. i hope you notice the tiny bits of sarcasm..
